New Kickoff Materials for 2025-2026–Updates, Reminders, and Resources: Unpacking Thesis and Theme

We are excited to offer new kickoff materials for 2026. In the video below, see Devin, Director of Hawaiʻi History Day, give some updates and reminders for the coming year.

Then, check out our two-part video series, Unpacking Thesis and Theme, presented by Bob Buss. In this series, Bob, former Executive Director of Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities and longtime History Day judge and supporter, shares and for useful tips and examples in developing a thesis. Note that some examples contain mature themes.
